This fine carved Lord parshvanath statue is made of Indian sandalwood. It can be used as home decor and can be kept in pooja room for worshipping. Lord Parshvanath was born in 706 B.C at Varanasi in India and attained salvation in 1977 B.C. from Parasnath Hill in the Bihar province, a place of pilgrim for all sections of the Jains. Lord Parshvanath is the twenty third Tirthankara, a great tinker or professor in Jainism religion. Among the twenty-four Jain Tirthankaras, the historians agree that the Lord Parshvanath and the Lord Mahaveer are the two with real historical evidences.
