Lord Parshvanath was born in 706 B.C at Varanasi in India and attained salvation in 1977 B.C. from Parasnath Hill in the Bihar province, a place of pilgrim for all sections of the Jains. Lord Parshvanath is the twenty third Tirthankara, a great tinker or professor in Jainism religion. Among the twenty-four Jain Tirthankaras, the historians agree that the Lord Parshvanath and the Lord Mahaveer are the two with real historical evidences.
